    not what i expected

i bought this in the light blonde color to be a second color to my black extensions. i did not however realize that it was SUPER thick and heavy. it was a five clip track and is too wide for my head.i cut it and made a few adjustments like cutting it into two separate layers and then cutting off the fifth clip. so now i have two 4 clip tracks and two single tracks. i do not use the second 4 clip track because it would outweigh my black extensions. but using the single clip tracks, it makes my hair look really cool and everyone thinks it looks real! but don't let them get too close to feel it because it is however.... synthetic hair.btw, i did straighten this extension on the lowest setting on my straightener.

I read though so many of the reviews on this listing and i was so scared to order them because they were all like horrible reviews but I ordered them anyways because even if they did suck, I wouldn't have lost too much money.anyways, these extensions are FANTASTIC. They are no better then the ones you can get from sallys. They are not thin and the ends are perfectly fine. This color was way too light to match my hair but i ordered lighter so I wouldn't have to bleach if they were too dark. I have collar length hair because i dye my hair often and it was so dead I had to cut it. my hair is not thin but its not thick. These blend in with my hair perfectly and I only bough one pack!they are super soft even after i dyed them ( with ammonia free hair dye ) I highly recommend these. I will buy these again rather then spend $100 at sallys. The clips are much better then sallys too!

I love, love, love them. I got them in the mail within a week. YAY. I got them yesterday and put them in myself last night. I would definitely suggest having help. I didn't so it just took me forever. I have thick hair and I only used about 175 of them. when I got them I was worried that they were going to be too thin, but if you put them in CORRECTLY (thin bricked layers) then its fine, my original hair is just a little past my shoulders and with the extensions it goes past my armpit. They are awesome. Last night was a little rough sleeping but I recommend doing one big braid (not French braid) down your back so it doesn't tangle when you sleep. that's what I did and I just got up this morning with a perfect amount of wave in my hair (which never happens) my hair is normally a big frizz ball. I only had to flat iron my bangs and I was off to work. The hardest part about putting them in is the parting, putting them on was a piece of cake, parting took the longest. so if you have someone who can make a straight part to help you out, you're golden. Hope this helps. Oh yah, the color was perfect, matched exactly.

1.Wash and condition the hair thoroughly. After washing, blow dry the hair so that it is straight with no styling products (do not grease or saturate the hair with any other oils).

2.Depending on the style of the extensions, part the hair according to a specified pattern. For example, if you are doing a full head, part the hair from crown to crown; if partial extensions are used, part the hair straight across from the base of the neckline to the crown.

3.Cornrow each parted section from left to right---or in the case of a full head of extensions, cornrow the hair around the head in a circular pattern. Be sure that the braids are tight enough to hold the extensions. The style will not last with loose braiding.

4. Measure the extensions and cut them to fit the cornrow. For thicker and fuller extensions (and also depending on the quality of the hair), the hair should be doubled and in some cases tripled to increase fullness. Also in this step, you must cut and measure the thread and hook it to the needle.

5.Sew each line of extension to the cornrow by weaving the needle and thread through the thick lining of the extension as well as through the individual cornrow. This process connects the extensions to the cornrows. Be sure to pull the thread all the way through for maximum hold.
After sewing the extensions to each cornrow, tie a small knot in the thread---leaving a tiny bit hanging from the extension. This is done so that the extensions can be removed easily.

6.Style the extensions and/or remaining hair. Add moisture to the scalp if desired.

Q: What are differences between human hair & synthetic hair?

A: Human Hair offers the most natural look and feel. It is remarkably soft with a shine and movement that is not easily duplicated in synthetic hair. It is also extremely versatile. Human Hair can be cut and styled to suit your personal tastes. And while it can be a more expensive pick, with the proper care, it is also more durable and can last over a year.

With technological advances, synthetic hair has come a long way in recent years. In some cases it is difficult to tell the difference -- the denier and texture are such that they feel almost like human hair. As a matter of fact, with some of the higher quality synthetic pieces, you would never know they were not natural human hair if you didn’t have the human hair right next to it to compare!

Human Hair
● Ooffers the most natural look & feel
● Presents the most styling versatility
● Requires more styling - especially after washing
● Typically more expensive than synthetic hair
● Less durable than human hair — 4-6 months with proper care.(It is important to follow our care recommendations in order to get the optimal life span from your hair!)
● Premium & Remy Human Hair are the highest quality human hair available
● Hair cuticles kept running in uniform direction resulting in less tangling
● More careful collecting and processing techniques result in higher quality product and contribute to higher price
●The most durable hair type
Synthetic Hair
● higher quality synthetic hair offer a look and feel quite similar to human hair
● offers limited styling versatility (hot tools cannot be used)
● requires little maintenance & can usually be worn right out of the box
● typically more affordable than human hair
● very durable - can last over a year with proper care.(It is important to follow our care recommendations in order to get the optimal life span from your hair!)
● Heat-Friendly Synthetic Hair offers more styling versatility (hot tools may be used - max 350°)
● Can be more challenging to style than human hair
● Care must be taken to avoid tangling
● Colors may vary from non-heat-friendly synthetic hair
● Less durable than regular synthetic hair — 2-3 months with proper care(It is important to follow our care recommendations in order to get the optimal life span from your hair!)

Q:What are differences between human hair & synthetic hair?
A: Unfortunately, any heat styling runs the risk of damaging synthetic wigs. Wigs with synthetic hair can be purchased pre-curled or in any style you desire. Alternatively, you could curl the wig with a styling method that does not involve heat. Wigs with human hair will not be damaged by heat styling.

Q: What type of fiber is used for your synthetic wigs/hairpieces?
A:The fiber is made from the raw material Kanekalon, which is imported from Japan. It's commonly used for hair extensions, weaves, wigs and doll hair. Kanekalon is flame-retardant and comes in a variety of styles and textures, plus more than 120 colors.

Q: Can I color or straighten the hair in this wig?
A: Wigs made with human hair can be colored or styled as you would your own hair. Synthetic wigs can be colored, but heat styling of any kind could be damaging to the fibers.
